When I paid off our first credit card I was very excited and thought this would be done in no time. I really just didn’t consider how hard it would be with my husband in school with no income. I do think we’ll have one of our two credit cards paid off in about two months if we put our tax refund towards it which is the plan. It just gets hard sometimes to stay motivated and beleiving that this will happen. Two months and we’ll be so much closer. I have to look at it that way…

How I did it: As cliche as it sounds, I did everything possible to make myself indispensable to my company. Last year I was chosen as one of four super users to implement a new booking engine at our company. I spent an enormous amount of time, most evenings and weekends, over an 8 month period at work. In the end, I was exhausted, but had become a necessary part of our company.Earlier this year, when one of my coworkers was out of wor… Read how I did it…
I paid off a credit card this morning. It was very exciting. It’ll be a while before we’ll truly be out of debt since my husband is getting an optometry degree, but my goal is to pay off the credit cards.
I did this with my husband and best friend once, but want to do it again. Loved it the first time and can’t wait for the second!
