How I did it: When I first started becoming aware of synchronicity, I was often frightened by it, as such hyperawareness seemed to indicate I was losing my mind. In retrospect that fear probably prevented my welcoming some good experiences into my life. Nevertheless, even back then, awareness of moments of synchronicity often inspired, or perhaps were indistinguishable from, creative activity. Less fear, now, "no mind" being a perfectly acceptabl… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Kept my eyes open for things that appealed to me, and made an effort to remember to follow through. Enlisted friends and was willing to go along when other people had ideas.(Photo by kim mullins http://www.flickr.com/photos/kmullins/148267577/) Read how I did it…
How I did it: I got scared. A friend's house had been sliced in two during a freak tornado. I live by a brook, and weather events seem so unpredictable these days....I called my car insurance provider and said I needed a new home insurance policy and while they were at it could I get flood insurance, too, and they said, "okay," and, "address?" and "how do you want to pay? online?" and I said, "credit card, right away," because it was much less expensiv… Read how I did it…

Took a friend to emergency room – while there got news another friend just died. His wife and family in emergency room across town. I just saw them a week or so ago, after a fairly long time…
It won’t go in. I have a little emotional response when I think of his grieving wife, but none to the event itself. All I can do is enjoy the rhythm of the words: “After a scratchy day, a rough night.” Which is both comforting and disturbing.
we grew fast for awhile and the old ways of doing things don’t work very well anymore. many of us are trying to get us on track and one day it seems we’re making progress, but then the next it’s back to the same frustration. Progress with one set of issues leaves things in even worse disarray elsewhere.
Today it got to me, because most of it is beyond my control. Just because other ppl have (pick one – time management/delegation/attentiveness/ communication) issues doesn’t mean my time and performance should have to be impacted so strongly.
