I’ve been having issues with showing my creative side and owning up to my work. I play guitar and bass, and while I manage pretty well at playing songs, scales and such, I always get stuck when it comes to improvising – when I’m not told what to do. It’s the same with drawing; as long as I have a pretty drawing or painting that I can copy, everything goes smooth, a lot better than I ever expected I could do. But whenever I try to really draw something that truly belongs to me – something of my own – I instantly freeze and can’t seem to do anything.
Since I totally feel the creative energy within me, I know that I am able to improve on guitar and on paper. I just need to push myself, stand up for my work and say “yeah, this is me, a part of my personality. If you don’t like it, don’t listen to it/look at it. I’m not going to let you disliking me stop me from creating things I enjoy creating”.

I just started learning Japanese about a month ago. I already know all the hiragana characters and a bit of katakana, and so far I’m having a lot of fun with the whole thing:)
