...and still doing it. I had some tough times last year and had to reach into this account, but it’s grown to the point that I don’t feel panic at the thought of buying a new vehicle. The best part is that my lovely truck is 11 years old, 145,000 miles, and going strong!

Oh and it’s a Ford Ranger. Ford rocks!

It’s kind of a shocker that I STILL haven’t done this. Last time I made an entry, I’d hiked it 26 times. I’m now at 99 times and will make my 100th a special victory lap. I still intend to do this, too. Not for the initial reason, but because I’ve had it up here as a goal for at least a year.

Initially, I meant to use this hike as a way to break through the 6-mile barrier on familiar territory. I’ve since done numerous hikes in the 12 to 15 mile range and distance doesn’t intimidate me anymore.

But I shall complete this goal.

Oh and by the way, it’s been quite some time since I’ve been to this site. It’s good to return. This site just rocks.

As of fairly recently (a couple months), and also unexpetedly, I have an awesome man in my life. We were driving around in the backcountry the other day, and it’s raining. We kiss at about every opportunity and as we were out enjoying the view from a dam, it happened… I fulfilled one of my goals, and it didn’t even occur to me at the time.
