It was pretty heart breaking, all the animals had desperate and sad eyes and some were howling and crying. I really hope this animal shelter will agree to let me volunteer there..It’s very strange to actually see an animal shelter for the first time because I couldn’t believe that there were so many unwanted animals living like this. My own dog was given to the pound by my parents without my knowledge so it’s hard to imagine that how scared she must have been to stay locked up in a small cage and wondering where I am or if I’ll save her. The shelter is taking good care of them and giving them alot of exercise but they obviously need alot more TLC like a loving family. I’m now more determined than ever to do my part and hopefully save some lives

How I did it: I visited a shelter and filled out an application form, the shelter gave me a call and I am now helping out at the shelter twice a week for a few hours each. I'll be mainly helping out with the cleaning, feeding, walking and cuddling Read how I did it…
How I did it: I get lazy drinking and trying to force myself to drink alot of water, and I noticed that i liked drinking flavored drinks more since I don't like tap water.. plain water just didn't taste so great, it also became pretty expensive buying drinks like powerade and gatorade all the time. In the last few months I've mixed filtered water with a bit of cordial..it reminds me of flavoured drinks and it's great! I get plenty of water now..and I t… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Shopped around, found the best deal, then made the purchase. Nothing complicating, the difficult bit was the waiting and the savingIn the end, I don't think I got the best price, but I accepted one that was in my price range which I'm happy with and maybe that is all that matters Read how I did it…

I really need to move out, I am living with 3 other people and although I prefer not to live with males I feel like I don’t have a choice because it is very cheap and right now I really can’t afford a more expensive rent. Only problem now is that my housemates rarely clean and I have to share the bathroom with them which is sometimes sooo dirty, its very uncomfortable..on top of that, I don’t know if it is my imagination but it seems like one of my housemate follows me around! he gives me the creeps tbh..I think I will just look around for another share apartment, or maybe get a second job, a weekend one so I can afford to live on my own instead of sharing
Tonight I went to dinner with a meet and greet group, something I always thought was abit strange but definitely very challenging for me. When I entered the restaurant I actually turned around to go back home and felt really silly, but then I remembered it took me almost an hour to get to the restaurant and find parking..so I turned back around and decided to get it over and done with..and it turned out to be a nice night, really glad I didn’t change my mind. There were 3 people I felt really clicked with and we planned to get together for lunch next week. It seems there are more people in the same shoes as me than I thought so it’s always nice to meet like minded people
