Every step of the way seemed to be a struggle after we made our offer – even down to our moving unit arriving a week late – but we are so happy to have our own little house. It costs less than renting, sorta – still spending lots of money on fixing things up the way we want them – and it’s so much more satisfying!

Our closing is scheduled for next Tuesday and our moving pod has been picked up for transport to Syracuse. Hopefully everything will go smoothly from here out.

We just got word that we are clear to close, so the lender has given the go-ahead and now we just have to set an appointment with the attorneys to actually close the deal on the house. Everything is coming together just in the nick of time, which is extremely stressful, but at least it’s finally happening! We expect to close in about a week, so hopefully everything continues smoothly for our relocation.
