i didnt say things i should have and time passed me by
saying them now would give the wrong message and be redundant, but then what the hell do i do
the regret is killing me and the impossibility is messing with my head
but its the impossibility i feared in the first place, should have just taken the plunge
maybe our paths will cross again
and if not then well, theyre separated already and at one point werent even joined
we’ll see whats supposed to happen and take hold when i need to
i’ve had a guitar sitting at home since i was seven, a completely beautiful and great quality guitar which my dad kind of played and i just didnt even try (although he did refuse to teach me since he relied mostly on musical sense and had not had formal training and ‘didnt want to teach me wrong’). so i finally went to a eight months worth of classes an hour, once a week -reasonable time commitment, and honestly (dont tell my teacher) i think i only picked it up twice at home to play. but i am fundamentally proficient and given the time, i will totally take it back up. a start was entirely worth it!
