I have started writing again. I used to write constantly and then haven’t really written much the last several years. About 5 weeks agao I started working in Artist’s journals and that has been SO satisfying!! It feels so good to get stuff out!! Some days I work more on the art and somedays I do more writing. I would still like to get to writing daily, but this is a start!

This week I finally decided enough is enough! I have to be able to function like a normal human being! I have insomnia and have tried everything. I do take something so that I finally fall asleep but it’s REALLY late! That last couple months it has been around 4 am, then I sleep till almost one the next day. I was never willing to make myself get up tired so that I could try to reverse my schedule. So this week I decided to start trying to settle in earlier and try to better set the stage for me to fall asleep. Then, I decided to MAKE my self get up at 11 so that I’m more tired at night. So I’ve done it for four nights now. I’ve been going to bed right around 2 am instead of four. I know it still sounds crazy, but it’s a big improvement! Next week I will try one am. we’ll see how it goes!
About five weeks ago I started making/working in artist’s journals! I love it!! It is SO gratifying and freeing. I would recommend it to everyone! Some times I work more on the art, some days I do more writing! I’ve almost finished one and have already started the second!
