I took my first test for my online course this week! Introductory Accounting. I’ve never taken an accounting course in my life, so this course is challenging, but useful. I even started to budget my own funds. SMART MOVE. Anyway, just waiting for the test results now. Sending up prayers!

How I did it: I looked for courses that would count toward my major that I could apply toward my GPA. Since I didn't have a second summer job, I figured this was a productive way to use my extra time. I chose two courses with applications for life, as well, and for my future goals. I signed up. When I received the schedules for each, I wrote assignments in my planner to keep track of them. I read the material whenever I could - on the bus, during lunch… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Working at Disney World for the semester, I went to a Jack's Mannequin concert in the city one night. It was at a small venue, so of course it was packed. Afterward, everyone cleared out pretty fast. His bus was parked in a lot about a block and a half away. My friend and I sat on the curb of the parking lot for a good hour before the band came out. After another 20 minutes, the security guard announced that Andrew McMahon would be signin… Read how I did it…
I just heard about HomeLink on TV and researched it online a bit. It looks like so much fun! Website: http://www.homelink-usa.com/index.html
I hope I can try it someday!
I’ve been asked to be a personal attendant in two weddings this summer…does this count as being in a wedding? Either way, I am SO excited. The weddings are for my roommates of three years (one in July, the other in August) and I’m doing my best to be the organized “mom-figure” so their own moms can have fun! Shouldn’t be too hard…I’m pretty organized to begin with. Bring on the lists and schedules!
