My friends from Denver came to Europe! It was awesome to show them my new place, take them home to meet my family and go on a bikeride with them around my hometown. To top things of we had Sunday brunch and late night drinks with old friends. Three years and 4900 miles between us and it felt like nothing had changed. That’s what I call good friends.

I moved into my new place seven months ago – seven months of absolute freedom! Looking back I can only wonder what took me so long!

Waiting & Wishing 6 months ago

I have submitted my application several weeks ago and am supposed to hear back from the committee in the next couple of weeks. Since I was quite late submitting I fear that not only the good tickets will have already sold out but also that it will be outrageously expensive. Fingers crossed!
