Okay, so after the first two weeks I felt better, had more energy and couldn’t wait to get on the scale (I don’t own one so I use one at my mom’s office). It showed a GAIN of FIVE POUNDS.
Being somewhat stocky and pretty compact muscle-wise, I’m choosing to believe that it’s muscle gain that caused the weight gain. Grr…

The Runner's World Beginner Plan 9 months ago

I’ve chosen to use a beginner plan from RunnersWorld.com I began yesterday and wow! I was huffing and puffing and threatening to blow the trees down, but I was also pushing my kids in a jogging stroller…that’s 80 pounds worth of toddler right there! The added resistance made it all the more excellent for buns and hams though :) I can’t wait to get back out there tomorrow!
