One of the most amazing experiances of my life! I lived on the island of Wasini near the village of Mkwiro for 10 weeks. No electricity or running water but the people were wonderful and the simple life away from the things we take for granted were eye opening. I got to know the people there and see a side of Kenya that the tourists don’t see. It is interesting the “two kenyas” that exist one for the citizens and one for the tourists. But whichever one you see, Kenya really is an amazing place; the colours, the space, the landscapes and people, the animals, the culture! Amazing…

I would love to go through life doing what i really love and being paid for it and i believe it can be done. I have been meaning to create designs for t-shirts, cards etc for at least a year now and then print and sell to stores. I’ve gone as far as making a couple designs but not enough. And i think i’m secretly stalling on the production and marketing end even more. will try harder this year because i do believe it’s a good idea and will be productive if i choose to put in the necessary work.
