I'm doing 1 thing
I was found eligible to sit for the exams and I’m really happy considering I have a management background and not accounting! I’m prepared to work hard for the exams and do whatever it takes to get the title.
I just need some advice on whether to take it this window or the next. Currently I am working at home as a freelance web designer, I’m single, no kids, no other job here, but what I find is that it is really hard for me to budget my time. Some days I have 3-4 clients asking me for updates on their projects and whenever they need me to work on something I find myself dropping everything to work on them. I’m committed to this current career I’m taking (design) but I also want something totally different to look forward to (accounting career).
So back to the timing dilemma, I got my NTS and scheduled BEC for Oct 1st and made a study plan. But ever since then I wasn’t able to follow through my plan and have been pushing the date further.. Should I pass up opportunities in design to allocate some time in studying? or should I just take it next year (Jan-Feb) when I get out of some projects I have?
I find everyone here very inspiring and that’s what keeps me wanting to work on this really soon.
