Had to sing to my fellow actors in the Christmas play for this year – i think that took about three years off my life… Or added 15, as it was a massive thrill too…

How I did it: erm... i was asked - again - to join the others to play in the christmas play, all singing, all dancing... They weren't going to take no for an answer, so that was fairly easy to decide... It was quite cool to find that i was one of the more experienced of the crew, and could help others to gain more confidence... Me!!? Help out!?!! Waaahhh... Read how I did it…
How I did it: i've been writing on my blog for a couple of years, and i figured that a lot of stuff i write about is retty much the spiritual things i wrestle with, or discover i get the hang of, or feel i'm still miles away form achieving... How I did it: last year I was asked by the team of teachers of the school of my youngest 2 kids, to join them in their Christmas Play (a very beautiful old tradition, read here), and had to get over my fear of talking in public first, before i was plunged from a great hight to then get over my fear of singing in public, on my own... Very scary. Last year was a baptism of fire.this year i felt i could go into it with less fear, and indeed, enjoyed… Read how I did it…

Just had a good idea, while watching a German (subtitled) soap on Internet – one of my children is learning German at school, and i might as well use his exercise books to teach myself… Also the German people i know will probably be very willing to help out…
Step one is taken then…
Now for my fluent conversations – and understanding the language when spoken to me… Weyhey!!!
