Finally secure

Reflecting on where I was two years ago when I adopted this goal and where I am now, I’m positive she’d be proud of me. I just finished paying off my debt, I’ve been approved for a mortgage, and now to find the house to go with it! None of this for anyone but myself, no significant other, no family, but because it’s what is in my best interest. It truly is a wonderful feeling.
It is amazing the strength I’ve found in changing focus to myself instead of seeking approval from others.

I just paid the last bill today!! I even got part of it written off! Now to hand the receipt to my mortgage broker so I can sell my left arm and right toes for a $100,000+ loan! Yippee.
Ahh, the never ending circle.

I quit 6 months ago as of 4/15. I’m an IT manger (just so this makes sense ;-) ), one of my lovely ladies who works for me took all correspondence for me for the first 3 days because the rest of my office refused to talk to me due to the homicidal look on my face. A few weeks passed, the feeling of disdain for all human life subsided and now, 6 months later, after 10 years of a pack and then some a day of smoking, I wonder why I ever started. If you can get it in your mind that you’re just finished with it you’ll be fine. Stick with it everyone!!! Not only do I save $120 per month just on the smokes themselves, now I pay $10 less in health insurance through my company as an added bonus!!!
I completely agree not all methods work for everyone, but the Allen Carr Easy Way was the best thing I ever came across.
Good luck everyone!!
