I got a job offer today for a temp-to-perm job. It’s in marketing/IT which is a very good combination for my skills, being both creatively and technically savvy (ambidexterity for teh win). I’m not sure that I’ll like it, and I do like my job here so I’d be really thrilled if they counteroffered.

I cut my Christmas shopping list in half by only buying gifts for the people who mean most to Scott and I. I’m not sure this will equate to cash savings (I’d like to give most people a basket of homemade goodies), but it certainly means more thoughtful, lovely gifts all around.

I baked anise cookies for my RCIA class tonight. They all loved them. I think I’m going to bake chocolate coconut cookies for the 11/30 class.
