Every day they amaze me with the new and exciting way they view the world. It is so refreshing to hear their interpretation of a situation. We as adults are often so cynical, and I strive each day to stop and see through their young eyes. They teach me to be humble, patient and positive. They teach me to be slow to anger and judgement. I am in awe of these gift I have been given and I pray for the wisdom to help them become amazing people.

Well, its been almost 7 months and still smoke free! Gained 12 pounds and now have even lost the weight I gained. It is amazing how terrific I feel. I can’t believe I let it dominate my life for so long.
Cooked dinner tonight…wasn’t my best result. But he ate it anyway and with a smile. The kids didn’t like it so had to make them sandwiches instead. Was a bit grouchy after that. Made a beautiful Strawberry Shortcake too…but he didn’t want any. Why would that upset me? Have plenty left, anyone p for a piece?
