I'm doing 27 things
My best friend wrote “to” me in a journal when I went off to college and I read it this summer. Although she didn’t write often and stopped half way through the year what was written was cute, poignant and revealing. Because it was in writing she was able to express some of her more private feelings; ones which she wouldn’t necessarily be able to express face-to-face. In all I was flattered and honoured that she decided to do something like that for me. So I’ve decided to do the same. I’m not very good at expressing the way I feel and I have trouble letting people in, but I’m hoping that I can be just as vulnerable as she was in her journal to me. I can’t decide whether to do it just for a year or fill up the whole journal first. Whichever comes first I suppose.
