My new goal is to help Pacific Assistance Dogs sell 2500 calendars.
The new calendars are on sale online at http://pads.ca/. 13 of the most adorable puppy pictures you’ll ever see. They’re $12 each and all the proceeds go to raising and training assistance dogs for people with various disabilities.
PADS doesn’t get any government funding so all their money comes from donations, sponsorships and fundraising activities like the calendar. It takes about $35,000 to raise one dog.
The PADS calendar makes a great gift for the dog lovers on your list.

I’ve decided to volunteer as a puppy raiser for the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (http://pads.ca/) This weekend I have a five month old standard poodle named Oscar.
These puppies can sure tire a person out. I will be getting a full time puppy for 10 months sometime this fall.

Finished the second one at 4 am in the lobby of the Doubletree Hotel Bellevue where I was hiding from my roomie who snored. She’s a lovely woman but one with an unfortunate problem. Luckily the hotel was able to supply earplugs. I’ll be better prepared next time.
