How I did it: Just made sure that I put a side some time each week to practise. Attempted some new songs and used videos on youtube/guides on the internet. Finally got the calluses back on my fingers which makes it easier. Read how I did it…

Done some anonomously and everyone seemed to like them, so will put up some more over the next term.

My advice is…dont be deterred by the time and cost of lessons and to those of you who have failed, just book and try again. It is worth it in the end, especially the independance.
