I have been entirely unsuccessful at this goal so far. In fact, I have slept 8 hours only once in the past two weeks, and don’t plan on doing so again until thanksgiving break. This goal is thereby officially postponed until I get my UC app in. :-p

First, I need to practice magick more. Just casting circles, raising energy, etc. daily. It makes me feel energized and empowered, not to mention the physical results when it works.
I also need to bring more magic into my life- forget the mundane every once in a while, declare a holiday from schoolwork, and go out to appreciate Nature.
So far, I clear my chakras regularly and do some simple ritual work, but nothing major and not as often as I would like. I’ve come a long way since my fluffy-bunny Wiccan days, but I still have a long way to go…
At a summer camp I went to in middle school, I went to some early morning yoga classes. It was absolutely amazing being out in the middle of nowhere with the sun rising, meditating. I think this would help me de-stress (can you say college apps and 5 AP classes?) and just relax. Now I have to find a yoga class I can actually fit into my schedule…
I have helped out with a few of the more neurotic school horses at my stable, and it is just amazing when they start to trust you. I would love to have my own colt someday to train from scratch.
...oh, my beautiful wickedness!
OK, so I’m not the Wicked Witch of the West, but neither am I 100 years old. In fact, I’m still in high school, yet I shrunk a half inch last year, bringing me back under five feet. All I want is to be 5’1’’; I don’t think that’s too much to ask of a late growth spurt.
If only I would get accepted EASC, then I would be done with apps and wouldn’t have to worry about all this admissions junk for the rest of the year. And I know I will worry, no matter how far this stuff is out of my control or how little it matters in the long run.
More like 3.5, actually. English, Spanish, ancient Greek, and some Egyptian heiroglyphics. I want to learn more modern languages now. French and German are required for classics grads, but I think it would be interesting- and useful in today’s economy- to learn Chinese or Japanese. Depends on where I end up for college, I suppose. Geekily enough, I do enjoy learning languages.
At some point, I will do this, even if I never get published. It would be nice to be a famous author, of course, but I am completely lacking in delusions of grandeur at the moment. I know perfectly well that I could never possibly make a living off writing. That doesn’t mean I can’t keep on writing throughout life, though… =)
Enough said… but easier said than done.
Tried it last year… I did an acryllic of my cat, even matched the colors to my curtains in my room, but it didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to, so I haven’t met with much success in this one yet.
Este ano no hablo bastante espanol ya que no tengo la clase de espanol AP. Entonces, para ayudarme en esto, uds. necesitan hablarme en espanol. Comprenden? :-P
