Well, I’m just back from getting it done – it’s gorgeous, my artist did an awesome job (as usual!). I’m not gonna lie, it hurt, but I didn’t cry and I didn’t die. And I would so do it all over again.
Please excuse my crappy camera phone picture – it’s much more beautiful IRL.

Having finally resolved my “oh god what if it looks weird with my tendons” issue, I’ll hopefully be getting it done tonight. I’m no tattoo virgin (two others, hip and above my belly button), but I still find that I’m nervous about it.
This is the first one in a place that might actually be painful – less cushioning, more… tendons. I’m always scared I’ll chicken out, even if it’s something I really want to do. I’ll have my boyfriend with me for moral support, but I’m still sorta… nervous? Scared?
Tell me I’m not being lame, hehe.

So I know pretty much what sort of design I want (a snowflake – going to work with my artist on what exactly it’ll look like, but I don’t want it to be too big) and where on my wrist I want it. Now I’m grappling with the usual “omg future careers, what if I don’t get hired” worries – new to me since this will be my first visible tatt. I’m also wondering why the tendons on my wrist stick out so much, and whether that will mess things up like how it’s going to look… (pic of tendons attached)
Anyone out there have weird tendons like me and still have a wrist tatt? Let me know, cause this is something that I really want to do, and I don’t want to let funky anatomy get in my way.
