How I did it: I found a figure drawing class and contacted the overseer about modeling. Very easy. :) I was a little nervous at first when I was still in my robe, but once I got to posing, all the nerves went away and I was able to focus on giving the artists good material to work with. How I did it: I applied to 6 schools, was rejected from what I thought was my perfect fit, wait-listed by one I didn't want to go to at all, wait-listed at another that I thought was my second choice, and was accepted to 3 others.Ultimately, the school I chose is exemplifies what I believe to be the fabulous, perfect-fit school, and I can't wait to start college after my gap semester! How I did it: I was training for a backpacking trip, so to keep myself constantly hydrated, I drank mostly water. During my expedition, water was all I drank. Since then, I've had a few more sodas than I would have liked to, but I don't enjoy the taste. If I want some liquid sugar, I opt for lemonade instead. Now I'm conditioning myself to stop drinking sugar altogether. I just want to be a healthier person. Read how I did it…

Today I had at slice of whole wheat bread with low fat grape jam for breakfast. For lunch I had half of a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat bread, an organic fruit roll up, a cup of carrots, and a rice crispie treat. With both I had a half liter of water. For dinner I ate two slices of leftover pizza and had an ice cream bar. Not exactly healthy, but at least I didn’t order anything when I drove my brother to Baskin Robbins. Still no soda.
Basically this is an experiment to see how I feel without so much processed food in my body, and to see if I’d like to continue this pattern. Of course I want to lose weight—who doesn’t? I personally have 20-25 pounds to go in order to reach my goal weight. And I struggle with diet the most.
