I got hit with a big slap of reality last week. I need to stop making excuses for people, and accept what really happened without making light of it.

I had a wonderful dog for 8 years, and we went through highs and lows together. I lost her suddenly on Christmas of 2008, which was also her Birthday. She was literally my best friend, and it’s rare to get that pure and unconditional love.
She was a German Shepard, I love the breed. In the interest of discovery, I was thinking about a Border Collie, Lab, or Golden.
Right now, I just don’t have the money or place, but I’m looking forward to going to the shelter or rescue and picking up my newest addition.
