It is a popular pastime in rural India. I used to play this game with my maternal grandmother, about ten years ago, on summer afternoons when the sun was too strong to play in the fields and everybody else preferred to rest. It was fun!
Like all other board games, it is a game of chance, probability and strategy but instead of a dice we use split tamarind seeds.
I want to learn how to play it, again, and note down all the tricky rules.
