It's funny, they don't get me

They, is religious folk.
Every time they hear me declare I’m an athiest they seem to think something so horrible, so terrible, so evil happened to me i had to turn my back on their god(s).
But in reality, I’d rather live and rejoice in life – not mourn for death and I’ll be damned in their opinions, but I’m happy to be living.
I gotta finish it...
