Went down to working 4 days to accommodate doing more shiatsu. I now have to be on time or I just CANNOT get all my work done. I’ve been on time every day for 3 weeks and it’s been easy. I have serious motivation to get here every day becuase I’ve squeezed 5 days of work into 4. Hope my boss is noticing….

Okay, I’m not perfect but I’ve been on time or early about 50% of the time. I had a work appraisal and my boss finally mentioned something about my atrocious timekeeping. It would seem that it doesn’t bother her as much as it bothers me.
I’m still going to keep working at it. I get so much done if I’m in right at 9 which keeps the stress levels down.
I do this. I think that everyone in the world is either below me and incompetent or above me and unreachable. Neither is true.
I’m reading I’m Ok, You’re OK by (someguyican’trememberhisname) and it is an eye opener. This pattern started very young and has been reinforced by all my behaviour and that of the people I have chosen to be around. Now I can see that it can be changed and I can like myself and like others at the same time.
