How I did it: They have a number you can call to get tickets sent to you at the end of their show. My mom called it and while we were in NYC last August, we got the oppertunity to go see them live and ended up on TV in the audience (: Unfortunately it was Kelly’s day off, but we still got to see Regis and his wife, Joy, who was filling in for her! :D Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went with my church on a mission trip to Chimbote, Peru. We spent a lot of time planning everything out and fundraising, and finally took our trip in June of 2008. We got the oppertunity to meet many people, both children and adults, learn some spanish, and make a difference. How I did it: My French teacher is friends with an English teacher in France, so we got the oppertunity to have a penpal from her class. It was pretty neat. You really get to know not only the person themself, but also a lot about their culture. I'd reccomend doing this, for sure. Read how I did it…
