I’ve kept up with this for several months now and it is definitely worth doing, but sometimes it’s hard to come up with ideas when money is tight. After a while you sort of forget whether you’ve done something this month, so I’ve just decided to start writing down anything fun and different I can think of and resolving to try them all sometime soon.

Finally moved into my new apartment…still working on getting a couple of things fixed/moved in, but I’m already loving the new place.
It’s been a while since I’ve really kept up with my martial arts training, so it’s time I got back on track.
This includes:
1. Stretching. Not just to prepare for training, but also active stretching to increase my flexibility.
2. Strengthening. Drills and exercises to increase strength and endurance. Including but not limited to cardio, pushups, crunches, wall kicks, etc.
3. Practice. Keeping up with the skills I already feel comfortable with.
4. Recovery. Getting all the stuff I used to know back up to par, completely relearning it if necessary.
5. Improvement. Improving the skills I have.
6. Learning. Learning new skills, whether from class, watching videos, or coming up with new ideas on my own, I should always strive to learn new things.
I won’t be able to do all of this every day, but at the least I should do some stretching and conditioning along with some technical work…I’m thinking a minimum of 1 hour a day.
