I went to the promotion board in Dec and did very well. I am now promotable to SGT. Now I just have to wait to get picked up.

Deployed 20 months ago

Got deployed to Baghdad, Iraq on March 2007 as part of the “troop surge.” This will be something I will soon not forget.

Promoted to SPC 20 months ago

Got promoted to SPC in Feb 2007. One more rank and I will have made sergeant. We are deploying in March to Iraq as part of the troop surge.
