I’ve watched Spanglish and Mean Girls on youtube.
And some documentaries on Latin Gangs which were very interesting.
Its a very nice and free way to watch movies that you love.

How I did it: I actually just did it on an instinct but the image was premeditated and it felt great. Although it took 3.5 hours. I made the appointment a week advance so I actually had time to meditate on it, but I'm glad that I decided to go through with it. Read how I did it…

working on a Spanish Major because my college doesn’t have education as a major yet.
Spanish is my main interest in the field of teaching because there are a lot of people who speak Spanish in the USA right now, and I would like to be able to communicate with those who aren’t able to speak English as well. I would also like to live in South America, or at least spend a lot of my time there.
It is my best bet to be a Spanish teacher, and I am looking forward to it when I graduate from Agnes Scott and go on to grad school, preferably in or around San Francisco.

I dated a Brasilian from Goiania, Goais, BRASIL. So I know some words from him.
I also have his friend to talk to who lives in PA. We talk through texting and on facebok so if I get a Rosetta Stone or a program similar to that, I can practice with Douglas. It is very exciting and I’m glad that I have a native speaker to talk with.
I already know a lot of Spanish…I can start a conversation and read articles since I’ve dated some Mexicans who couldn’t speak English.
So, I think that Portuguese will be very easy for me to learn, since I took up Spanish in a snap.
I also plan on moving to Rio or Sao Paolo someday soon, possibly after grad-school or something.
I have started listening to Portuguese artists such as:
Jorge Ben Jor
MCs HC
Gal Costa
Banda Beijo
and even though they talk so fast, I can kind of understand them since some of their words are really similar to Spanish.
