How I did it: My company gives us 5- and 10-year appreciation gifts--we can pick anything we want from a pre-selected list/catalog. My co-worker didn't see anything he wanted so he let me pick. I chose the 12' lake kayak. It arrived in the mail. Voila! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I wasn't planning on traveling alone. I thought I'd travel with my husband. I got my passport-- and divorced instead. Within three months, I was in London alone. How I did it: I bought a last-minute deal in a Czech grocery store! My buddy--the one that was living in Prague-- said charter companies would have last-minute deals advertised at the local Carrefour. So, sure-as-shit.... there was a booth with a binder filled with last-minute deals. Fly out of Prague to Hurghada, Egypt.
