I learned to play the bass by ear, and being left handed made it interesting.. I play right handed bass.. I love the bottom and rhythm parts of songs and it’s the best therapy to sit and become absorbed when I need to loosen up. Funk is my favorite style – anything that is a challenge rhythmically and melodically… : )

Ok.. so I have been there three times, and still don’t speak that well. I learned a lot this past trip though, and surrounded by people that don’t speak English is a god incentive to learn the language…lol… It’s a beautiful language, and I know that I will be back – I think that a cd would be best. I can listen and absorb while driving.. They say that you absorb a lot while sleeping, too.. hmmmm…
I know that my being negative was a result of inheriting my Dad’s thinking. He claimed he was a realist. When I met the Lord, that thinking changed considerably, but I have struggles with my lack of belief that He has my best interests at heart. I have also seen, to my pleasant surprise, that many of the things I sooo worried about never happened… : ) I refuse to be a victim – even of myself..
