I have always enjoyed assembling things, like making flower bouquets or gift baskets. Yesterday, at work, as I was putting together those mini balloons on sticks, I thought it would be really awesome to have a flower and gift shop.
In June, I went to a small family-operated flower shop near my boyfriend’s house, and I was amazed at their selection; the atmosphere overwhelmed me.
So who knows?
This could be another chapter in the “Things I’ve Wanted to Do” book or it could be the thing I do that makes me happy. Who knows?

I have so many that I could do…besides the ones I’ve seen in the books already.

We threw a foam mattress in the back of the truck along with blankets, pillows, flashlights, and our cooler. When I woke up in the middle of the night (to shift positions or whatever) I saw more stars than I ever knew existed. It was beautiful and I recommend doing it! If your back can stand up to it, I mean.

lifelong goal

I think no matter how much someone smiles, he/she can always smile more. There is much in life to appreciate and be happy about, and we need to remember how precious those things are when the world around us seems to be closing in.

My boyfriend and I are having serious conversations about it, and know it’s something we want to do. We bought all kinds of stuff for our kitchen yesterday. (We agreed it would be better to get the basics now so when we move in we don’t have extraneous expenses right away.)
...but…
I have to learn to stop spending the way I have been. My current bills are half of what I make, and at the moment, all of my pants for work have something wrong with them. (Seams torn up to the knee; holes in the rear; etc.) And I have only one pair of pants to wear for non-work days.
Meh.
I hope it happens. He’s taking it seriously; he deserves a girl who’s taking it seriously also.

I have done it all my life, and I don’t see me stopping any time soon…It sucks because it’s unattractive, and it’s painful at times, but I just can’t foresee me stopping. (I’m not able to pinpoint the times I do this, therefore I’m not able to catch myself in time.)

...magazine
While waiting for the pharmacy the other day, I noticed a magazine in the rack titled “Organize”...it’s definitely worth it! I got inspired by a wardrobe I saw, and now I’m in the process of having an actual BEDroom and not just a place to sleep, watch movies, and play video games.
It’s amazing what a magazine can do!!
Oh, and Real Simple is awesome for tips on organizing too!

My parents got me a Canon PowerShot, and now I can get macros as well as zoom up to 10x!! I’m loving the pictures I can take with this. I would definitely say, mission accomplished!!

My paternal grandmother passed away on May 6th in Seattle. I hadn’t seen her in two years…

There is so much crap I don’t need, but I hang on to it for sentimental reasons.
Or crafty reasons.
(I save ticket stubs from movies, playbooks from performances, pictures, etc. because they could be handy in a scrapbook or on a wall of inspiration some day. But for now they are just in the way!)
Oh whatever shall I do?

It was between German (the language of my ancestors) and Spanish at my high school.
I chose German. (And I still managed to pick up some Spanish through life experience…)

We worked together, and for the five months we did, it was heaven every time I knew he’d be there. We talked, and a friendship developed. It took pursuing him, and a year, but it was worth it!
Our 18 month [dating] anniversary is April 11, and I’m so excited to see what happens next!!

We’re working on the objectives and goals bit together. (He says that he can’t think of his future on his own because I keep ‘popping up in there’...)
I helped him get his driver’s license yesterday!! (Big step for my 23 year old used to walking everywhere!!)

She’s got dementia. Her memory is going. She keeps waking up at night, packing her stuff because “she’s not home” (but she’s in the house she shared with my grandfather for their 43 years of marriage…). I fear one day she will forget me, and I want to make as many memories as I can before “one day” becomes “should have”.

I live in Colorado, & have all my life…one would think that I’d have done this by now.
Most think us Colorado-dwellers either grow up on the slopes or that we’re on them as soon as we can walk…

I enjoyed this sport in high school when we studied it for a few weeks at a time. I miss it. (And badminton and volleyball…)

Development

Been working on something since 2004. Not steadily, mind you, and it’s been quite dormant for most of that time. But new inspiration has come about and I find a pen in my hand and thoughts in my head more often than not. =)
I mostly attribute this newfound inspiration to the books I’m reading. Hamilton’s writing style is very image-inducing, and so new trails are being blazed as I read her words, and thus my brain is being more and more stimulated. :)
