How I did it: My employer went out of business in 2008 when the economy went into free fall. Jobs were scarce and I was on unemployment for 10 months. I put every penny towards bills to keep from making late payments, thereby getting slammed with late fees and interest charges that would increase my debt even further. And yeah-- there was debt. Unemployment checks don't go far, and a girl's gotta eat! How did I get out of debt after almost a year witho… Read how I did it…

In Wisconsin the Northern Lights Only Come in Green and Gold

Or so it would seem. ;)

I got a call from a friend who lived nearby telling me to go outside as quickly as I could because the Northern Lights were visible. To tell you the truth I wasn’t sure I was even seeing them when I first looked up, but they eventually grew more clear and it was truly a very, very cool sight. I was in my parents’ front yard with my mother at the time and the lights glowed bright green like gasoline in a big puddle in the sky.

I just hope I get to see them again some time. :)

Dye my hair an outrageous color
Rrrrrred

Dying my light blonde hair bright red was one of the best things I ever did for my hair. Which, you know, puts it into a pretty humble category since all the things a person can do for their hair really don’t rank terribly high on the ‘purpose of life’ scale, but you know: the red thing—yeah, it works.
