I have been deeply influenced by steampunk lately and it has inspired me to want to build my own computer. I will either mod a case so that it looks antique or build it into an antique (or at least antique looking) writting desk. I also want to modify an old typewritter so that I can use it as a keyboard but for the meantime I will just use a modified keyboard with typewriter (looking) keys. I would also like a steampunk mouse but I am yet to come up with a suitable design so I may just paint one so it looks like tarnished brass.

How I did it
How I did it: I just started. I didn't have a clue what I was doing and was rewarded for my efforts with a bountiful harvest. If the soil is reasonable (add compost) and you keep the plants watered, you be rewarded. Read how I did it…

Currently we are growing: Taisai, silver beet, garlic, zucchini, coriander, thyme, parsley, carrots, yams, tomatoes, sage, potatoes (though not where we want them), strawberries, spinach, plantain (yes we cultivate and eat plantain), sunflowers, beans, corn, butternuts, chives, onions, rhubarb, basil.
So yes a year later, we have an established garden and a very large compost heap that needs more time before it can be used in the garden.
