Smoking is one of the easiest habits to pick up, yet one of the absolute hardest to put back down. A huge problem I had was constantly being around enablers. My ex-girlfriend was a total chain smoker so I ended up increasing the amount of cigarettes I smoked while I was with her. If I wasn’t with her I would either be at work or “out”. Both of which were environments cluttered with smokers and poor influence. It’s a lot easier to subconsciously rationalize poor choices when it’s something a mass group of people are also doing. Anyway, the chain smoker and I broke up, I left my job (Not to quit smoking but, whatever), and stopped going out to bars and such so often. That, along with will power was all I needed. Just remind yourself of how awful it is for you and how much money you’ve wasted on the damn things. A pack a week these days will run you about 300 dollars over the course of a year. . .Think about it!

How I did it
How I did it: Eventually rounded up enough extra dough to finally get a new board for the first time in years. Although the only tricks in my bag right now are the Ollie and the Flamingo it's still so much fun to just soul skate around town again. . .It's good to have flavorful hobbies Read how I did it…
