I’ve bought a Sony HD-HC7e, a high definition camera. It runs on tape because it’s still the cheapest and most reliable way to storage nice uncompressed video. I’m now pulling in around 5 video jobs before the end of the year. Me and my camera are the best of friends already

How I did it: I got a phone call, my mum had collapsed and then was diagnosed with a rare heart condition ARVD, worse still I may have inherited it and so began the long road to finding out if I had it and what can be done. In the end a humble little tablet will keep everything in check Read how I did it…

It’s been a year and a half since getting my Powerbook, and I’m getting a quick memory upgrade and she’ll be good for a few more years. The new OS is coming and it’ll go on today, and only cost £80. That doesn’t happen on Windows.
It’ll take you a few weeks to get up to speed with where everything is, but then you’ll never regret it. Promise
