Avoid all pop/soda/cola for a month

Pop is an addiction. People laugh when I say that, but it is true. I get cravings for pop like crazy, it’s like I have to have a drink of coke and it doesn’t let up ‘till I have a drink of coke.

I gave up all pop for a month when I was at a summer school in Berlin but when I came home again it was like I had never stopped. I think if I was going to stop drinking pop it would have to be for good because otherwise there would be no point to stopping for a short while.



go to the gym regularly
I've got a membership... just need to turn up more. 3 years ago

I’ve got membership for the gym, which is halfway between my work and my school. I should really go more often but I keep procrastinating and saying I haven’t got time. I’m going to start taking my gym kit to school and leave it in my car while I’m at school. That way I can go to the gym for an hour on the way home before going home, having a shower and cycling to work. I have to do this if I want to get fit enough to join the RCMP.

Cycle to work now, 4 times a week. It takes twice as long to get there but it’s actually not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Cutting down on pop is harder though.
