I did this in Canada last year… the exchange teachers league in Ontario took us up to a YMCA camp near Haliburton for the weekend with other teachers… we got to try crosscountry skiing, shoeshoeing, broomball, tobogganing and yes, we even did a circuit around the lake with a Husky team pulling a dog sled… very cool… Hmm, in fact I just remembered I have a video of it, so I’m off to add it to YouTube! :-) Ah memories!

How I did it: It's not worth doing for the money (so far anyway) but it does feel good having written it. The book is a guide for teachers on how to use IWBs effectively and it covers basically everything someone would want to know on the subject. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Pull every dollar together to get a big deposit. Go to a mortgage broker to help find the best deal. Put up with all the drama of supplying documentation to get the loan, but in the end it all comes together. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I know it's not a "proper" programming language as such, it's still good to learn something like Scratch. I'd like to extend this into something a little more serious, but this was a good start to getting back into the sort of thinking needed. Plus, I got to teach it to the kids at school. Did this one today. It was a pretty tough run, especially the big hill from Rose Bay up to Vaucluse, but it actually wasn’t as hard as I expected it to be. Went with the people from the gym and it was quite a social day.
Looking forward to doing it again next year with Linda.
I don’t know why I feel the need to go here, or why I haven’t done it already since it’s really not THAT far away, but I’d like to go see it. The Breadknife sounds amazing.
