Or less if we can save up for the occasional extra payment (but I won’t hold my breath). The fact that it is so close makes us impatient. That extra money could really help with other expenses.

I had laser eye surgery in June. It is the weirdest sensation I have probably ever felt. My vision isn’t perfect but it definitely is an improvement on my virtual blindness. I’ve been document the experience through a Squidoo lens.

Would I don’t it again? It’s been 6 weeks and I’m still healing and am thinking NOT. Give me a few more months and I’ll let you know.

I finally decided on a 17” HP dv9000 that I got from Future Shop (the highest features and best price). It was weird having the larger screen and new buttons at first but I adjusted pretty quickly. I’m keeping the old one as a back up… just in case.
