When I first heard about this sort of thing and saw one – I thought – NO WAY! But then I saw guys with nipple-piercings and really liked the look. So I got mine done. The pain for those was like 3-seconds each side. Not bad at all. So I got to thinking about getting a PA because, again, I like the look and my partner likes the feel of it. So two weeks ago I was having a rough night and couldn’t sleep and it just popped into my head and I decided to do it. I had some things coming up the following weekend so I put it off a week, but then I went in on a Sunday evening and it took just about 2-3 seconds of sharp pain – barely even memorable – and then I was done. It bled for two days but there was no additional pain – and it didn’t burn when I peed like I expected it might. So that was cool. The only problem I didn’t expect was the night-time erections – that causes some pressure pushing against the piercing site and you have to be careful. I just get up and go pee to make it soft again, and all is good!

How I did it: Went to a reputable piercing place. Asked about jewelry material and size options. I went with the surgical steel round barbell - 8 guage - this is the smallest guage (largest piece) they would pierce with. I went back to the booth.
