I went through the last two years of entries this morning (well, can’t really go outside, due to the nasty weather…), and pulled out and/or editted items I felt were most interesting: passed over all my whiny bitchy posts about how terrible my life is, rather reluctantly ignored all my political posturing (because, really, the moment has passed), killed my more super-personal personal leanings (all those posts I made about my mom are NOT going with me), and just re-posted stuff about my travels, music, lighter thoughts, and obsessions on pop culture. So now my back story makes me look like a shallow, celebrity-obsessed hussy. Who cares!

I’m sure I’ll get an email saying “Whatever happened to such and such post”. Sorry dude. Find it in a google cache somewhere. There’s some extra baggage I can’t be bothered to keep.
Anyways, light a candle and say a prayer…Da Blog is going up in the air.

This morning, I went thorugh my feedburner stats, and did an “earliest to date” list of all the entries that were clicked on since I started using the service. The list only goes up to the 30 most clicked on items on the feedburner feed. However, I was able to gleen enough content off that list to copy and paste some of my more memorable entries from my old blog to my new one.
Of course, not all went: I noticed that some of my more personal entries got lots of reads – sorry peeps, my life is no longer that open a book (tho’ I may release certain pages from time to time, just to get a point across). So, when that blog goes, THEY go.
Now that I’ve exhausted that list, I’ll need to go through that blog itself, and find things that I may find interesting (again, any ranting over what I ate for breakfast one morning in August, 2003 will probably not survive my purge). Two more weeks of this. Hang tight…

So I get home today from a relaxing, if hectic, day off – got a (sort of) new ‘do (I tried out a “San Francisco style” salon in Reno – basically this tattooed love child named Tiff gave me a nice little highlighted crown job, an all over conditioning workout, and trimmed off the excessive amount of split ends, scrunching up my hair to give me a curly q job. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of brushing all the curls out when I got home, so now it just looks like a layered mess…$130 bucks down the tubes! Damn! Oh well, I’ll try re-stylin’ after my shower tomorrow), wrote some song lyrics (or attempted to) afterward at Dreamer’s coffeehouse, picked up my car at Pep Boys (all they did was replace the starter, tho’ the car took a while to start afterward), and came home to find a package from CSU East Bay.
My best bud Serena had sent me a package!
Which contained…

Gee, a few days ago I was sweating some small issues. She’s either been reading my mind or reading this blog!
