Currently, I am training to do a 5k. I don’t know when or where, but I hope to complete one in May/June this year. I am at week 3 in the couch to 5k program and have about 6 more weeks to go. After, I hope to build up more speed and endurance.
Today went quite well. The 90 second jogs are beginning to feel like nothing, the 3 minute jogs on the other hand, do not feel like nothing. At times it feels like I might collapse. They require a lot of focus and concentration to pull through. I almost made it today. I had about 1 minute to go and I slowed to a walk for about 30 seconds and then I finished out my minute jogging again.
