How I did it: I invested in a 3-inch memory foam mattress liner - much cheaper than an expensive 'posturpedic' mattress set - and it made my bed feel like new. I sleep like a baby on it! Read how I did it…
I really think that my lousy bed is a big factor in my struggle to obtain adequate rest each night.
However until I have the kind of disposable income where I can afford a couple grand for a new orthopaedic mattress set, I think I am going to have to suffer.
My bodily rhythm is also more aligned to being active at night, so it is difficult for me to be in bed and ready to sleep at a decent time of night. And since I can’t seem to stay asleep once I’ve managed to finally drift off to LaLa Land I’m thinking I may be in need of some medication like Lunesta or Ambien.
Well, that is what my house is like. There’s ALWAYS something wrong with it. It is a 40 year old house to which the previous owner added an extra room where the carport used to be. Well the roof has never stopped leaking since I moved in despite all the money I put in to trying to fix the problem. Now the furnace is starting to go and I’m wondering what is next.
Every house I’ve ever lived in since I left my childhood home has had many issues. I just want to live in a house that is nice, new, solid, stable, attractively decorated, and one that I’m not ashamed to have people over to visit in!!!
