Well I’ll be working on this goal for a while longer. Had an incident in the bouldering hall two months ago (sprained ligaments), because of which I was out for several weeks. Then there was a lack of climbing partners, vacation and the result is: less muscle strength and a lowerage to 5B. So I’ll have to work hard to get back to level…

How I did it: Originally, two years ago or something, I came form 63 kilo. But that was a period in which I ate a whole packet of biscuits every single evening. In the first two months, I had to be hard on myself. I did not diet for real, I just kicked aside the biscuits and candy and stuff. As I was a chocaholic and sugar-addict, it was quiet hard in the beginning. But I definately wanted to lose some fat. So I got through it. As said, I did not … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I just kept challenging myself to keep trying the routes, keep finding how to conquer the crux and never giving up! Also very important is to keep an eye on other climbers, focus on their techniques to learn them yourself and if you are stuck on a route and think you can do it but just don't know how: just ask someone! How I did it: (Just a note: 10 months is just the time between the invitation and the actual party.) I kept pushing myself. Even though I knew I would have to go alone, I kept pushing myself to go. I kept telling myself that if I would not go, I would regret it, not knowing who would have come and how it would have been. I bought new clothes especially for this reunion, an extra push to force me to go. I just kept talking myself courage and kept pushin… Read how I did it…

So I was on holiday and had planned on finally getting that lesson of surfing. I was all ready, went to the club and… no golfs! I called them several times afterwards, but each time they couldn’t give any classes because there was not enough surf to surf on ;). Either way, I still want to do it and will keep trying. If I don’t succeed in getting a class here in Belgium still within reasonable temperatures, I’ll maybe get one in Lanzarote next year…
I thought I was doing reasonable, but today I had one of the bigger panic attack and at work even! Came at work this morning and got a serious panic attack. Had to go hide on the toilet two times, shocking and going insane. Only after 40 minutes and a calming pill I could calm down again. Colleagues thought I looked rather bad, I wonder why LOL. I’m glad I could hide in the toilet, would not want any colleague see how I am in the middle of such an attack.
Either way, had a hard panic attack today, so I’m far from cleared of it…
