for some reason I think this place is nicknamed ‘midnight sushi’. I had inari (as usual), tuna rolls, and california rolls. it was all really good, but expensive. there was orange powdery stuff on the california rolls, not sure what it was but i didn’t mind it. I put more wasabi on my sushi this time. think i’m starting to take a liking to it.
they have an awesome asian sit on floor styled room that i want to eat in someday. it looks really fun for a group of peoples.
once again, not as good as surin west.

ventured over to kobe for some more sushi adventure with Stephanie. again, we had a great time! i really liked the interior design of this restaurant, it’s very fitting. there was a coy pond and a little bridge and lots of neat little touches that put me in a sushi mood. the food was really good here, we ordered the usual stuff and also tried out some cucumber rolls. All of the food was good, i liked the cucumber rolls too. my stomach did get a little odd afterwards, but nothing crazy. i was fine. i had a lot more fish this time than i usually do. again, it was really good, but more expensive and not quite as good as Surin West.

Went to Sekisui to celebrate Stephanie’s promotion to Scientist II. I quickly noticed a few things different at this restaurant. We were given no standard eating utensils, only chopsticks, yay. Also, we were given a hot towel to wipe our hands off before the meal. That was neat. We decided to try some tempura first. The broccoli was the best, followed by the mushroom, then the squirmy soft tofu. I tried some tuna, inari, and vegetable rolls. stephanie had a bunch of inari and vegetable rolls, and tons of wasabi. it wasn’t as strong here. It was all really good but not as good as Surin West. it was a bit more expensive too.
