How I did it: The key to getting away from everything ex related, is building yourself. Work toward a goal, do things, take up hobbies, and most of all, know that you're okay. What helped in this specific case is getting the perspective that people lie, but the truth will come out eventually. That really put me at peace, and made things a lot easier to handle.I'd be lying if I said there wasn't a bit of residual anxiety, but it was a really bad relationship. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I made the decision to do it, listed out the positive and negatives to remind myself and did it.I abuse the water cooler at work, refill jugs at the grocery store for a quarter and make sure I have water at home so I'm not stuck drinking soda or juice. Read how I did it…
How I did it: After months of taking ramen, fast food, questionable leftovers or nothing to work to eat, it started to wear on me.I bought things that I could make quickly, that would keep. Sandwich materials, fruits, veggies edible fresh, bottled drinks and such.I woke up early enough to make sure I had time to make it before work, and made sure to make it one of the first things I did while getting ready so nothing else could snag time from it. So far so good. Eating less fat over all, because of trying to force veggies and fruits into my diet. This is a really good thing for someone to do.
Positive effects:
- Added fiber (yeah, whatever, it’s a good thing)
- Less calores consumed
- A wider range of nutrients available to your body without vitamins
- “Cleaner” effect on meals. Makes sitting down to a breakfast fry up sort of disgusting. Tastey, but disgusting.
After a month of doing this, I’ll consider it done and a habit.
I’m starting this today on paper. It’s a great excuse to use a journal.
Will update in a month to see if I can stick to it.
