I have no more credit cards -- WOO HOO!!!! 2 years ago

We’re not out of debt yet, but the credit cards are gone, more than 10K! No more phone calls on Saturday mornings (and every other day)...no more collection agencies, no more threats! If I am bleeding to death in an emergency room somewhere, I will not use a credit card to pay for services. Seriously. We’ve started an emergency fund. I’m going to pass this on to my kids…and although I have no one to blame but myself for the past, I really, really wish my parents had passed on the message to me. I’m going to make my kids take the Financial Peace University class before I let them out of the house. It has literally changed me and my family’s life.

I will never forget it, esp my very beautiful, understanding, empethatic wife helping this drunk old fool get back to the car. We both had a blast…may be the last concert we go to until the kids are grown & moved out, & who knows when that will be…

own a Harley

By the time it happens I may be old & bald with no teeth... 4 years ago
