for anyone interested, there is a pretty nice polyphasic sleep group that you can sign up for at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/uberman. There are many members there who do it actively and they are very supportive for the new ones still in the whole process. the www.wikipedia.com article on polyphasic sleeping has a nice set of links to learn more about it for those wanting to do some more research before getting into things.

apparently, electrical stimulation of the right angular gyrus of the brain creates OB-like experiences. However, these stimulated ones don’t seem as intense as those reported by some authors and webpages I’ve read. Does anyone here have OBEs regularly and consciously? I would so like to learn how. I was thinking about attending a course once, but the main instructor’s name was Beelzebub, which just seems wrong to me (being named after the devil). What parent in their normal mind would name their child that!? it’s perverse. NEways, deex@u.washington.edu is my email. lets chat _. most people think that OBE is crazy so it’s hard to find someone to talk to who is interested.
